Threat Level in Belgium
Threat Level
RSO would like to remind all our OSAC members of the utmost need to continue to remain vigilant as we move forward from last week’s terrorism threat rating increase. The current Level 3 threat rating is described as follows: high, with the possibility or probability that a terrorist attack will occur.
Please maintain a heightened sense of awareness and continue to avoid large crowds or areas that might attract a substantial gathering of people. Keep your cell phone charged and with you at all times. If you see something you deem suspect or someone acting suspiciously, report it immediately to the nearest police officer or soldier.
It is imperative in this elevated threat environment that we not become complacent. Please remain cognizant of your personal safety and security at all times.
Please Note:
RSO will continue to update and inform the community of any/all security related information as we are made aware. It is important that everyone remain cognizant of their personal safety and security at all times.

The Overseas Security Advisory Council recently received several alerts regarding suspicious emails appearing to come from OSAC requesting payment for OSAC website access or products. The emails appear to be a scam perpetrated by individuals who did cursory Internet research. At this time, there is no indication that any OSAC systems have been compromised.
